To access the page for the Onsite Barrel Rackhouse, simply navigate through the side menu, go to the Barrels tab, hover over Rackhouse Inventory, and then select Onsite Barrels.
Select the the "LOAD GRID," option to view all current barrels.
Choose a barrel then use the "Selection Actions" to do the following:
- Dump Barrels
- Queue Dump
- Transfer Out of Bond
- Bulk Edit
- Add Value:
- Print Barrel Labels
- Assign Barrels to Rackhouses.
A few notes about the barrels in Whiskey Systems:
- You can select multiple barrels and the system allows you to edit/transfer many different barrels at once, as long as they are the same Internal Spirit Type.
- You can dump multiple barrels as long as they are the same Internal Spirit Type.
- If you fill barrels from production, it will show on the production report in the cooperage section (if whiskey).
- You can also fill barrels from Storage.
- The system allows you to have duplicate barrel numbers. If you generate a duplicate by mistake, you can edit the barrel and assign a different barrel number.
- A loss from filling a barrel from production does not generate a line item on the production report as it does on storage or processing.
- For ease, fill barrel based off of volume, not weight.
- If you blend two different aged spirits together, this affects the age in Whiskey systems. The new age will be the younger of the two ages.
