Move multiple tanks into one tank

You can blend tanks in the same account (can update the account if it is not in the same account) that have the same internal spirit type.  Use the "Move" command to accomplish this.

Below there are three tanks in processing for Bourbon at different proofs.  For an example, let's blend these three together (we are assuming that the spirits are all of the same age for this example).

Select one of your tanks and scroll to the far right in the table.

 

Select “Move”.

Enter the correct date/time the move took place.

Select your destination tank.  The list will only show you an empty tank or a tank whose contents match the internal spirit type of your current tank.

Enter how many proof gallons you want to move, or select all.

Enter any label hours if you are tracking.

Move.

The system blended the two tanks together and calculated the new proof based on the two inputs as well as proof gallons and wine gallons.

Do the same for the third tank.

Again, the system calculated the new proof based on the two inputs as well as the new proof gallons and wine gallons.

I want to combine the batches from multiple hearts runs into one tank and track that batch #. How do I record that?

Use the Move function on each tank and move all the proof gallons from those tanks into the receiving tank. Once all the spirit has been blended together, record any internal Batch Notes or Internal Lot Notes for the tank under the "Batch Details" link.
