Users can use the Proof Cut Calculator tool to determine how much water will need to be added in order to get the spirits at it's desired proof for bottling, barreling, etc.
The system will then automatically apply the proof amount to the vessel as a Tank Update.
Where? Side Menu > Tanks >Tank Status.
Find the tank that needs to be proofed down and select Cut from the Commands column.
The system will then generate the current proof at 60 degrees (100).
- Input the proof you want the item to become from the Desired Proof field.
- Scroll down and hit Calculate.
This will generate the quantity of water that will need to be added to reach your proof goal.- Lastly, insert your Observed Proof so that true proof can be calculated. Change your date and time and Apply Proof Cut.
Proof Cut has been successfully applied!
Select Back to Tanks to return to the Tank Status page.
