Setup:
Where? Settings > Definitions > Internal Spirit Types.
If you are creating a gin or another spirit using botanicals before or during distillation, you can set up a Botanical recipe that will pull your ingredients into the distillation.
In your Internal Spirit Type setup, find you Gin spirit types, then select "Botanicals" from the commands column.
Add each of the botanical you use to create the internal spirit type with quantities for your regular batch size.
Distillation Process:
Where? Production > Distillation > New Distillation Run
When you are creating your botanical recipe internal spirit type using a new distillation run, select Use Botanicals as well as your fermenter or tanks.
On the next page, you will choose your fermenter or tanks used and below that you will see your botanical recipe.
- Verify the quantities of your botanical used and click next.
- This consumes your botanical raw materials during your distillation run.
