Users can sell, transfer, and sell raw materials from the same area of Whiskey Systems.
For any type of transaction, navigate to Raw Materials / New Transaction
For any type of transaction, three things should be set:
- Transaction Date
- Source Warehouse
- Transaction Type
Jump to Transaction Type
- Move Raw Materials to a Secondary Warehouse
- Transfer Raw Materials to a Linked DSP
- Sell Raw Materials to a Customer
Move Raw Materials to a Secondary Warehouse
- Set the destination warehouse – the location to which the inventory should be moved. Note that inventory can only be used in a batch or bottling from the Default Warehouse (distillery).
- For each item to be moved, set the quantity transacted.
- Submit the form – the transaction will be displayed in the Raw Material Transaction Log.
In the case of a mistake in the move (either quantity or item) users should create a second move transaction to correct.
Transfer Raw Materials to a Linked DSP
- Select the Destination Distillery from linked DSPs
- Choose whether to transfer the value of the selected inventory to the receiving DSP
- Set the requested transfer and/or pickup date (optional)
- For each item to be moved, set the quantity transacted.
- Submit the form – the transaction will be displayed in the Raw Material Transaction Log.
In the case of a mistake the transfer may be edited from the Raw Material Transaction Log
Sell Raw Materials to a Customer
- Select the Customer or Add New
- Complete any desired optional fields:
- Add carrier information by sliding the toggle
- Set the requested ship and/or pickup date
- Add a PO/Ref, Invoice, and/or BOL number
- If this shipment is ready to go, check Ship Now. This will complete the transaction on submit, rather than setting the order as ready to ship.
- Shipped orders may be unshipped to be edited
- Invoice editing is available for both shipped and unshipped orders
- For each item to be sold, set the quantity transacted.
- Submit the form – the transaction will be displayed in the Raw Material Transaction Log.
In the case of a mistake the transfer may be edited from the Raw Material Transaction Log
