The Batching Run function is used to change Internal Spirit Types (GNS to Vodka) and blend flavoring ingredients. This function will also move items to Processing Bulk.
To access the desired function, please navigate through the following steps:
- Navigate to the side menu icon in the upper left-hand corner.
- Then select "Processing," from the menu options.
- Within the "Processing" section, locate and click on "Batching."
- Finally, initiate a new operation by selecting the option labeled, "New Batching Run."
Step 1: Enter Batch Details.
- Enter the correct date and time for when the Batching Run took place.
- Select the Recipe that being created.
- If planning to add blending ingredients and/or converting one internal spirit type into another, the destination account must be put in Processing.
- Enter the desired wine gallons of the finish product.
- Batch number is a rolling number that Whiskey System tracks it can be changed if necessary.
Step 2: Choose your destination tank that the blend will be made in.
Step 3: Consume Source Tank
Use the Amount to Use section enter the proof gallons used to make this specific spirit.
Example: Use a Tank with GNS to make it into Vodka.
Step 4: Consume Blending Ingredients.
Verify units consumed, change quantities if necessary.
Step 5: Finalize Batching Run.
Verify the batch summary proof as well as inputs. If this proof does not match your final proof, maybe due to obscuration (sugar), you will need to update the tank proof after confirming the batch in the tank status screen.
Click Submit to complete this Batching operation.
