In Whiskey Systems, a Product Line is a tool to organize Products Masters by brand or by a client's product line.
- Product Line details will not print on labels, therefore they can be used for internal organization purposes.
- Product Lines have zero impact on TTB Reports.
- Product Line data will appear on Finished Product Inventory reports and the Product Inventory Summary report.
- Users can edit Product Masters to change the Product Line, but keep in mind that this edit will not update historical report data.
To Add a New Product Line:
Navigate to Settings > Things You Make > Product Lines
Click the “+ Add New Product Line” button:
- Enter the desired Name for the New Product Line.
- Sort Order allows users to indicate the place in their Product Line List this New Product Line should fall; if used very often, "1" is recommended.
- Click Submit to save.
