This option will be used if you are receiving spirits in their original oak cooperages.
Drums or plastic barrels are considered Totes in Whiskey Systems.
To access the desired function, please navigate through the following steps:
- Navigate to the side menu icon in the upper left-hand corner.
- Then select "Transfers in Bond," from the menu options.
- Within the "Transfers in Bond" section, locate and click on "TIB Inbound.
- Finally, initiate a new operation by selecting the option labeled " New Barrel TIB In."
- Choose the date the barrels came in.
- Select the From DSP - MGP
- Only check "Received from Customs" in The spirits were received from Customs custody.
- For ReasonForXfer:
- Only select "Received for Contract Storage" if you are going to return the FULL barrels in the future. Contract storage barrels cannot be dumped or bottled.
- If receiving for contract bottling, select "Purchased" but leave the cost as zero.
- Because I own these barrels now and want it to be part of my assets - I will choose "Purchased."
- List the:
- Ref. Number
- PO Number
- Internal Lot Name – optional, but for tracking purposes.
- TIB In Number – Rolling number.

Enter the total and shipping cost for the values, if you'd like to apply value to it.
If you are receiving Multiple Totes, Barrels, or Tankers on One Delivery, enter in the Total $ Costs for just this one receipt. Example, enter in the $ Spirits Cost + $ Shipping Cost per tote.
7. For Each container you are receiving here input:
- Add a description - A good place to add the seal # for tracking.
- Select the Internal Spirit Type for the received spirits.
- Proof gallons per container received
- Enter the true proof of the barrels
- Original DSP & Spirits Owner – leave blank if you are the owner.
- Select the Empty Barrel Stock for Raw Material Inventory.

- Specify whether New or Used.
- Start number is going to leave off from the last Transfer in of barrel or barrel fills – leave as it is, or manually change, if necessary.
- Barrel Qty - Specify how many barrels tour are bringing into your Barrel Rackhouse Inventory.
- Enter either the Tare weight or Cooperage size.
- Add the barrel Location for tracking.
8. Use the Notes feature to add any additional information to add to these barres. - WS Spotlight Training.
9. Use the Calendar Icon or Type in the Original Fill Dates
10. You may select an anticipated use from your list of Product Masters.
11. Enter Spirit Age (Yr, Mo, Days) For spirits with established age enter years, months, or both if applicable.
12. Select Receive and Done to complete the transfer.
Navigate to the Barrel Rackhouse Inventory page to see you barrels.
(Side Menu > Barrels > Rackhouse Inventory > Onsite Barrels).
